I totally disagree. Noisefloor, dynamic and frequency range and distortion of Ogg Vorbis and AAC outperform vinyl. It’s also better than tape. Digital is the way to go. Streaming or as download or on a disk. Just use your ears. 32 bit and higher sampling rates are mostly marketing bullshit. Might be useful for some occasions when you are processing those files in the studio (extreme timestretch for example) but for playback 16 bits @ 44.1 khz is perfect.
